Summary: How to add a MakaNet Hosted Email account in Microsoft Outlook.

You can set up Microsoft Office Outlook manually.

To set up Microsoft Office Outlook manually:

  1. Open Microsoft Office Outlook. If you have no account in Microsoft Outlook, go to step 3. If you already have set up an account and want to add another one, go to the next step.

  2. Go to File > Add Account

     

     

  3. Type your email address into the empty Email address field. Eg. youremail@yourdomain.co.nz

  4. Ensure to click on "Let me set up my account manually" at the bottom. and click Connect.

  5.  

    Click on IMAP as shown below

     

  6. When the pop-up box appears (like below), type mail.yourdomain.co.nz in the Incoming mail Server and repeat the same for Outgoing mail Server:

     

  7. Type your password and click Connect.

     

     

  8. Your email is now setup. You can click on Set up Outlook Mobile on my phone, too to unselect if you want.
